o2 sensor

i'm looking at a high flow cat thats only $80 at my local pep boys. but it doesnt have an o2 bung in it. can i just drill a hole and weld a bolt to it or move the sensor? its on a 98 XJ

I wouldnt drill the cat. I would make a hole in the exhaust pipe then weld in a bung. You can do this in front of or behind the cat depending on your figuration.

Weld a bung in right behind it within a foot. It'll be fine
