A company I do work for is offing me a good deal on powder coating services, so I am offering it to everyone on NC4x4. This is on a very limited time because the only reason they offering this is their commercial accounts are slow right now and they want ot keep their booth working.

They are primarily a tire and wheel company but they will do any piece work that fits in their oven. They can sandblast and prep anything that is smaller than 35”x30”. Things like bumpers, tire carriers and suspension components will have to be custom priced just PM me the dimensions and I will get you a price.

Wheels are $25 a piece or $80 a set of 4., this includes sandblasting and prep of the wheel. If you require a tire to be removed and remounted it will be $10 a tire. They offer balancing of tires up to 37” using the new powder balancing used in big rigs for additional $10.

Colors include Red, Black, Silver and Grey.

I am willing to offer a pick and delivery service on Saturdays and Sunday with in reason.(basically 1-2 hours away from me) all I will charge is my gas. You can PM me on here or call 336-207-7705.

Thanks

I have some chrome cragars I'd like red. I guess it can be done over red?

My first set of wheels I had done were chrome, they just sand balsted the chrome off before they powder coated it. I had them done in black and they turned out awsome.

I don't need pics of wheels, I just wanted a color sample. If we bought powder, would they spray any color?

Can they do two colors? I have the powder (I powdercoat at home) but I can't fit my 18s in my oven. It's quality NIC powder, not some junk.
Want gunmetal center and silver lip.

I'll have to check with them on bothe questions I'll let you know something tomorrow.

Did a set of Hummer H3 wheels for a guy, I think they turned out pretty good!

When did H3's get 8 lugs?

Those are H2's, not H3's, but they do look good. I am a little biased though, having had black H2 wheels and all.

I have never been a fan of the hummer so I don't really pay attention to the differences between the H2 and H3.

If they could the the flat black look (normally called the "teflon coated") then I have 4 aluminum wheels I'd like to have done. They are for my F-250, I don't want gloss black

They don't have flat black as their stock color, I am sure they can order the flat black but then that would defeat any of the discounts.

I'd still rather send the business your way over somebody I don't know. If they use a coarser grit in the blaster, would the rough finish make a glossy powder look more matte?

The problem with that is they are not a custom wheel shop they are typically only do 18 wheeler wheels so they don't do all the special stuff. The blster is is automated they just put the wheel in and set a timer and it blast the wheeler. Basically the only reason they are offering me this deal is becasue their booth is slow.

I work next to the guy with the H2 wheels. He's really happy with them. Truck looks good too.

Yea, they're pretty glossy. They're parked at the BMW dealership in Winston during the day if you want to come take a look.

not trying to hijack but for you guys that want custom colors there is a guy in pilot mtn that can do it. Jay Kovatch is his name....336-710-9307. tell him jason sent ya!

I'm not familiar with powder balancing...Do they balance them at all as part of the $10 a tire or do you have to get the powder balancing if you want them balanced?

How long does this take? Is it something I could wait on or would I have to leave the truck/wheels with them?

You would have to remove the tires/wheels from the truck the company I am working with only does powder coating. The powder ballancing is only for larger tires. It would be a waist of time to do it to regular tires.

Still doing deals?

I was thinking about powdercoating my 4 coil springs. Any idea on cost?

Any pictures of the red or silver or grey?
