first was in classifieds

My name is Garrett and I run an automotive/OT website. I am a salesman for a telecom company in Greensboro. I live in Welcome and am often in Winston Salem.

I'll be 100% honest, ive never owned a 4x4 vehicle in my life and am in no rush to to so. I signed up in search of a new vehicle.
Wendesday night I was in an accident, a deer jumped out in front of my 94 rodeo while I was on the interstate, totaling the truck.

I also own a 93 toyota mr2 turbo which i havent driven in 2.5 years. Its sad. I need to replace the t-stat and do basic tune up (i have most parts for that already) and she'll be good again. Im lazy at times.

I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast, owning two buells.
a 1999 s3 which is my drag bike and a 2008 1125R for a street bike.

Im a rad dude and look forward to being a part of the community. Hopefully finding a new vehicle on here and then later buying parts for that vehicle.

ps:
1 - i tried putting a pic in my sig and it didnt work, i used image tags, any help?
2 - while ive never owned a 4x4, i have lended a hand in helping one come together. my good buddy had a 2000 cherokee that was pretty rad, his name is carl, dont know if he was on here or not

that would explain it then
i didnt read the rules when i signed up, didnt know

Well, good for oyu for admitting it - but go read them so you won't be pickedo n later. Often things don't end well when folks flagrantly disobey them...

Well first off you are going to want to buy a Ford.

Ignore this...

Often some good deals to be had here, just a matter of what you're looking for. Most of the 4x4 vehicles in the FS section though tend to be modded to some degree, which can be good if you're interested in doing 4x4ing and saving $$, but bad if you get frustrated dealing w/ with other people's slackassery on workmanship.

signed the papers on a 2003 Pathfinder tonight
77k miles
4x4
SE model with sunroof, bose audio etc etc etc

many pathfinder people on here?

HEY! I did several of the most difficult passes in Colorado, including Black Bear and Engineer, in a stock Pathfinder last year :) Well, not stock, it did have some 30s on it :)

Welcome...oh and there is a NEW "Garrett" rule that regulates the use of "Rad" to once per thread! :)

Alot of what we do here falls into "rock crawling" and the harder core stuff requires rigs you don't mind beating up.

You can have alot of fun with the 03 Pathfinder and there are 2-3 guys on here with really built Nissans. (SharksandDanger is prob the closest to you and has lots of the tools/toys)

I did Engineer pass in a (rented) stock 05 Grand Cherokee, and could have done it in my FWD Passat I think. Beautiful place though.
