Oil filter Clearance Issues with the cad motor

Ok idiots at cad decided to make the oil filter on there big block engines stick strait forward/down off the front of the engine.

Well Mr Rockwell Diff doesn't like his personal space getting invaded so thats not gonna work out.

Ordered perma cool oil filter relocation kit from Jegs, tryed to put it on found out real quick there adapter sticks out just as far if not farther then the filter itself.

Looked at the different kits on jegs they were all designed exactly the same, so uhhhhh, what do I do bout this issue?

Also happened to notice oil filter block off plates on Jegs? So I'm assuming theres another way to do it, course with my luck it will be an expensive way, any ideas?

would a 90 help ya?

not sure on the caddy motor, but I know for SBC and SBFs they make a 90 degree adapter ~$50
 
you could use a remote mount like what is used on the first gen s10 4x4's. an mount it up on the fender

Thats what I have the adapter itself the hoses run off of sticks out too far

Hmmm didn't see those, but yea that would do it, I'll have to go back and look somemore
 
1 more possibility Rick, but its a bit more expensive.
Use a sandwich style remote mount kit and block off the filter port. That would definitely be small enough
