Going thru Grandma and Grandpaps stuff now that they've both moved on.
Came across some interesting stuff. My Grandpap was a radioman in the Navy for WWII. Found a scrap book that I'm guesing Grandma assembled. all kinds of papers, clippings, Western Union telegraphs, sketch of Mt Fuji with the Sunrise behind it that he did to mail back to Grandma. In the back of the book is an old Japanses Flag folded up and put in a plastic bag with a note that said, taken from a Japanese ship. HOW COOL!
Anyway, I brought home an envelope full of Monetary bills, from all over. much of it I've already found to be Souvenier reproduction Confederate bills. Some still unconfirmed, but I'm assuming the same holds true for them.
Other money was circulated money. Take a look:
Confederate
German Reichmarks
Japanese Pesos for the Phillipeans
Oriental money
Russian, Belgian, and some thing I don't know
just thought they were pretty intersting
Most of what I found online so far says they hold no real value other than sentimental.
