Anyone ever hooked OnBoard Air up on a Dodge. Ive got a compressor and was trying to figure out where and how to mount it and route a pulley to it? just wondering if anyone has done this on a V8 dakota, durango, or ram? thanks.

Why not convert a sanden pump from another mopar v8 and use it...plus the brackets, idler, belt, etc.? And which v8? They put a few different models in the dakota and even more in the ram over the years.

Are you wanting to keep your A/C or replace with OBA?

If you want to swing by I can help you out. We have built custom OBA brackets for various motors before.

Or for about $130 you could build a CO2 tank & have a lot less headaches.

You would still be able to run air tools & have less drag on your motor. Only downside is that you have to pay to get it filled. But this might not be an issue depending on how much you use it.

I can get my 10lb new aluminum tank filled for $13 here in Greensboro at Linde Gas on 8625 Triad Dr. off of Sandy Ridge Rd. You do have to drop it off and then pick it up later in the day.
