Chuck Smith, (00Bowtie), one of our members here, and one of the Big Dixie Boggers, was in a pretty serious accident today. They just life flighted him from Catawba, to Carolinas Medical for surgery.

We will get any updated info as we get it.

We asked that we keep Chuck and his family in our prayers!

He is out of surgery, in trauma icu at CMS, in stable condition. He is pretty banged up, some head trauma, lots of broken bones, etc. We'll know more later today i'm sure, just wanted to update this thread.

I hope all will be OK. Terrible when someone you know gets hurt like that...I just know the name from on here...but my family will continue to pray for him and for a speedy recovery...
