Cutting the body off near this line on both sides, to make room for the steering box on the drivers side, and just to match on the passenger side. Body is welded to the front bumper in a few places for support.

New engine mounts, I am going to make a nicer looking panhard bracket...

about time. looks good with the tires wven if it isn't fully done yet.....now the jeep.......it may be a while.

How bout a piece of flat plate with holes and rounded corners welded over the old frame and new pie pieces to strengthen the side? Should be quick and easy way to tie it all together. Turning clearance for front tires?
