Open weekend @ DPG ?

I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about an open weekend @ DPG this month. I read on their forum that there may be one this Sat. I have never taken my junk down there always have road with someone else...dying to get down there.:driver: any rumors? anybody know?
 
Well with 2 days notice... (unless I missed it ?) Probably not many..

That said I might try to make it down.

FWIW: I consider it rude to 'ask' when you guys are having an ride there. I just assume you guys will spread the word if you want others there.. Please put me on your notify list :flipoff2:

true...I often forget those with kids,wives who need notice,or repairs that need to be done, can't roll on short notice. This wasn't really planned just figured some people might want to ride a little bit.
 
If I knew I would have made this one. Got the kid tomorrow & have already made plans with her. But I am still gonna ask her if she would want to go. So might make it

Pure economics for me. Though I am hauling a toyota for a guy tomorrow from down there so if he's willing I may come over for a while to watch and chat
 
well, shoot. headed to tellico. We may not get to ride it again:shaking:
 
Can't make this one due to x-mas events, but post up early enough for a Jan ride and I'm in. I try to take advantage of free land any time I can. Thanks guys for offering this place and doing these events. I would love to see another event like the fund raiser you guys put on last year. It was a blast with a good turn out despite the rain.

The land owner wants to have another event with a band, maybe a big 2 day event rock crawler comp sat, rock race sun. Stay tuned, more to come on this!
 
I took the camera today but it didn't work, go figure. Nice to meet you sulfur. we had the big tire crowd out today, george had a pretty good brake in the rock garden, broken rear link. Smith took it to his house and welded it back together, george put it back on the truck and made it up the spot where he broke :beer: KC's buggy turned out nice and works very well. Mark had the new buggy out as well ,I think I've got a case of tire envy.
Fun day as always.

Cool, sounds good about the event. Count me in.

Matt, how did the jeep do? Getting more comfortable with it yet?
 
It was a monster buggy fest

3 Buggys with Rockwells and 49's
1 Buggy with rockwells and 47's
and BigWoody........

Greg was feeling a little Limp with this crowd........although he held his own

Good Job greg.
