Opinions on 00 Tundra?

Just wondering if the 00 Tundra is a Toyota quality truck or did it have its first year issues? Considering selling 98 Chevy for one. Kinda figure that the 98 Chevy should be pretty good they should have worked out all they issues in 10 years. Would take my truck and $5000 to make the upgrade. 30k less miles and a lot nicer to look at. However I would be willing to take my truck off road a little or hit some mud holes with it. What a 265 AT would get me through anyway.

Upgrading from a Chevy to a Toyota is never a bad idea. Check consumer reports for a reliability comparo. You'll be surprized at how many problems Chevy still has after 10 years. And you can't argue with resale value.
