I stupidly bought a brand new (sticker says 01/19) off of Craigslist so I had more money to spend elsewhere on my Blazer. Gentleman didn’t have a receipt for me. Now it won’t hold a charge and puts out roughly 400 CCA. Anybody ‘got a guy’ who might be able to help me switch this out for a functioning battery? I took the gamble and lost, but I’ve had multiple optimas for many years prior to this with much success. I’ve learned my lesson saving money on Craigslist with certain items. I’m in Wake County.

There is a way to tell where it was from based on the code but I can’t remember how

You might be able to recover it with an Optima charger, depending on how bad it is. Pretty big gamble without knowing the discharge history.

The warranty is for the original purchaser only.
You took a gamble and lost and now want someone to pay you like you won the bet.

Dont know how much you paid, but they usually bring like $12 at the scrap yard might help to offset the loss some.

Yes Im a prick but others are thinking it...

You’re not a prick, you are absolutely right!!! @Ron

I know there are a lot of great guys here, and I’m just hoping someone can help me out. I’ve learned my lesson.
