Options for Steering

I need to find someone who can make a drag link and tie rod. I have a balljoint Dana 60 so I'm not going to use any type of steering arm. I'd probably like to get something with heim ends and just drill out the knuckles/pitman arm to fit the heim bolts. I will also need a bend drag link to clear the right side leaf spring. I thought about using this:

$479 seems like a lot for steering though. Anybody have any other options? I don't have tools to cut or bend DOM tubing myself.

What kind of truck are you doing this on and how much lift are you doing? You dont want to bend the drag like that if you dont have to. If your using a Dana 60 I would assume you are gonna run huge tires. A bent link like that will be hard to get to clear springs and it will keep bending if you get it under a load. I think solid axle industries and dynatrac both make hi-steer arms for bj dana 60's. If you could get just one and machine the passenger knuckle that would be much safer and more reliable. Also check out http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/projectbuild/131_0711_ua_2007_jeep_wrangler_jk/photo_08.html and this http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/projectbuild/131_0711_ua_2007_jeep_wrangler_jk/photo_06.html These knuckes are welded to and gusseted. This is a possibility but welding cast is a pain and almost impossible to make hold for the strength you need. I wouldn't do it.

I can build them for you if needed, I've done it for several people here on the board. I use Ballistic components and can TIG the adapters and mill wrench flats into the tube if needed. If you have a BJ knuckle and want to run high dynatrac or solid arms you have to buy their knuckles. Welding to cast isn't that big of a deal if you're a good tig welder. I've seen Let me know if we can help.
