I just finished up my 3 link on my truggy, I talked it over with Michael aka (Tacoma747). He suggested making the panhard bar longer and mounting it higher than I did to level it out. With my clearance issues I came out with a 5* angle on the ph I know it should be straight with the axle at ride height, will it affect the handling that much? I will have to bend it on the passanger side to clear the frame if have to make it longer. Neither of us are suspension guru's so any advice is appreciated. Pics

Not so much the angle I am worried about but the height from center of axletube to panhard mount on axle.

Also, in your paint drawing there is no way you will make a bend like that, thats 3 bends too close together to work.

Also, for anyone who can answer, I know I have seen it done, but is it OK to have the panhard come as far forward off the axle? From center of axletube it seems you would want 16" or so (at least) to center of heim for panhard correct?

I'm no expert, but I know my buggy has a good bit of body roll (if the front isn't pulled down), and I've heard a talled panhard mount will help address this.

you want the panhard to be as long as possible, and flat HALF WAY THROUGH SUSPENSION TRAVEL.

Are you running crossover steering, or full hydro? If full hydro, try to make the panhard as good as you can. If crossover, you want the draglink and panhard to be parallel with one another, to prevent bump steer.

the angle is not that bad but you need to do a lot of bracing there, especially on the frame side or you will peel that tube open like a tin can.

that second pic is what my panhard looks like but mine is bent to clear the diff housing. make it as long as possible. I think if mine was 1/4" longer, it would hit the tires, air shocks, and frame...

well looks like i got some work to do this weekend, thatks for all the help, btw i need some 8 lug wheels! pm me.
