Through my never ending search to be a small time entrepreneur. I look and see lots of things getting thrown away that shouldn't be and could be recycled.

My question(s) is(are), how do you get higher up the recycling food chain?

I know I take my scrap metal to the place? But who buys it from there?

My idea is to get something similar set up for paper products. Target schools, newspapers, and what not.

I have searched and searched, maybe somebody knows more than me. I know I in the poorest county and things happen here last. Who knows I might be on to something.

(Or is it that I just want a big dually and a 40ft flatbed toting stuff off for sale?)

recycle.net has current prices but of course you have to be a member, any one know where I can find that info?

these guys started out as a one man shop in a storage unit and now are in a warehouse and i think 5 or 6 employees.. talking to the guy once it sounded like he made some cash..

I work for a large paper manufacturer and we send all our waste(trim from converting operation ) to a place in Canton,N.C. that from what I understand processes it and sells it to RJ Reynolds to make cigs. This is fine paper (white copy paper) and we ship out our waste brown paper and corrugated to Sunoco in Hartsville,S.C.

There is a new company here that is a guy that just start picking up recycling for like $6 a month, So I know he is getting paid some other way, He can't have more that a few hundred customers at best. The website is www.simplygreenrecycling.com his name is Brian, I am sure he would help you with some questions, Seeing your not in the area to compete with him.
