The funniest thing is that all of you at some time or other has made one of these very comments either out loud to your wife/gf or to yourself why you drive but because this guy said it out online where everyone can see it (joking or not) you have to string him up so that you can keep up the appearance that you're not like that. hilarious.

there is a place for talk like this. but in a public area of the forum its just more fodder for the anti wheelers to call us bigoted rednecks.

the proper posting of this probably would not have netted the same response.

FWIW, I agree with your disgust in most of what you had to post. To put things in summation for you, people are self-centered. Most folks wouldn't give a wooden nickel for your inconvenience. Unfortunately, we as a society have given our society absolution for their selfishness in the way we ourselves rear our children.

IIRC, a sound is ones recognition of a vibration, so if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around, it creates a vibration, but doesnt make a sound...

exactly. we ALL say stuff that may or may not shock or displease others sometimes. or atleast think it. he's just using his freedom to its full advantage.

i have my stereotypes (by the way, stereotypes are there for a reason.) i just choose to keep them in my head...
