Pic's of my axle shaft. Is this beyond repair?

Notice the burs on the outside edge. Is this signs of ruin? It's a 30 spline shaft from a super 35.

Looks like you need a new one to me.

naaa. sand it and weld the new berring on .
then run very little gear oil to eliminate all leaks
good for 30 mph under small load
wheel may wobble
probably won't fall off
maybe bring a spare shaft

Sounds like you answered your own question.
I would find a new axleshaft. Preferably one attached to the rest of the housing under the Explorer.

I replace it, and keep it for a spare. Might get you off the trail
