To upload an avatar (picture on the left) you must be a paying member. Refer to the links that burrellsjeep provided for details on becoming a paying member.

As for pictures in your signature, nc4x4.com does not allow pics in your sig line. Personally, I prefer it that way. Pics in sig line tend to clutter the threads.
