Just bought a red 03 tacoma (4 door) and I'm souping it up some. I bought a black diamond plated tool box, and I'm buying tires and rims from a buddy (6x10 dick cepecs with bfg mts.) Soon I want to put some pipes up there and don't know what to get I've heard stuff here and there but I'm not sure. Also I want something that roars and makes my truck sound more powerfull.

put pipes up where? Like a roll bar...I am lost

thrush welded wouldnt sound bad on it!!! makes my I6 sound pretty mean IMO. an they are cheap!!!

I have a 2002 Tacoma 2.7. As well. There really aren't that many choices of aftermarket pipes and mufflers available that wont make the 2.7 sound like a "ricer". My choice would be the flowmaster 40 series but even it sounds to ricey for me. Guess i'm getting old, I like the sound of stock.

Yea that's why I'm really hasty on what I'm going to buy. It's hard to find something for a 4 cylinder that doesn't sound like a :poop:

if you get a chambered muffler, get one with the largest case you can fit on the truck. Flowmaster has one specifically for 4-bangers - the 60-series.
