place to take wheels/tires?

i think he was interested in the wheels. im sure theres more than a few on here that will take them off your hands.

Most dumps will take four or five tires a year from an individual for free. Atlantic Scrap on 66 in Kernersville will give you a few bucks for the wheels. The dump probably won't take those, but they might. Your local Ma & Pa tire shop would probably take it all for a few bucks disposal fee.

get a sponsor, and post em in the nc4x4 freebie section, they'll disappear soon enough

give away a set of wheels, i bet you find one real quick! seriously, dont take the wheels to the dump. if no one takes them by this weekend, i'll come and get them.

lol, wouldnt say that too loud if your looking for a sponser!

since your new, let me welcome you aboard.

Some advice:

Read the stickies, it will save you some embarassment.

Dont post anything about wheeling on powerlines or any other form of tresspassing, it is not looked on very well around here.

Jump in on some chat. try not to make it look like you just came here to hock some parts.

Avoid ChuckWhut till you earned some kudos around here.

Once youve been around here for a while and become a familiar name on the boards, start asking people to sponser you. dont do it too soon or you;ll just be a nuisance.

Eh. Chuck is just a big softy that had a gew bad days and got a case of the grumps.
He'll roll over if you know how to rub his belly just right.

Re: tires/rims - yeah, drop by any mom/pop tire shop, and offer a 10 spot for them to off-mount and dispose of the tires.
Then either find somebody here that wants the rims, or take 'em to a recycler.

walmart will dismount tires for free....took them all the ones i didn't need (ended up being 26) and got it all taken care of no problems

Brandon,
Welcome. you have a sponsor bounce around.

Do some research guys, he's already taken a direct shot from Chuck and shrugged it off and came out looking like a pretty decent guy Id say.

Ooos, give me that back ,son that would be a bad mentor.

ahha, thanks man. yeh ive been there with the light bar. and thanks but no thanks i dont drink anyways

You can take the tires to the recycling plant on Bishop Rd between GSO and HP if you get them off the rims. I think it's like 4 or 5 for free and then $1 each.
