places to drive on the beach

im going toward the beach tomarrow with my family and am looking to drive out on the beach becaue of a broken foot. i went near a fort fisher last year. im looking for another location or if that is still open. Help.

Why wouldn't you? this is NC4x4 and last i check NC is on the east coast




To answer your question:

Ft Fisher is still open, along with the north end of carolina beach, prices have gone up for passes, but on carolina beach you can camp, light a camp fire, etc..

yes it is the east coast, i think i went to ft. fisher last year, deep sand but not bad. i havnt been on the beach at carolina beach. i guess it will be ft. fisher thanks. i read allot have closed because of the birds...and telico because of trout...most of ft. bragg because of the red headed woodpecker.....ft lewis washington because of the ants.....yakama washington state because of the sage brush... the world is getting small...
