Some drug dealers decided my wife didn't need her work bag anymore so they busted out the rear window of her truck and stole it. There was nothing of value in it to them, but it's really set her back at work.

Fucking theives, they got house keys too, but I changed the locks and kept the loaded 45 readily accessible.

Anyway, I have a $250 deductible with insurance and the window was $220. I can get a used one for $75 and do it myself, but I'd rather pay a bit extra and just have someone do it for me.

We've got a lot of costs to replace all the stuff in the bag, so I'm trying to find somewhere cheap.

Any ideas?

Not sure in NC, but in SC insurance companies are restricted by law from applying deductibles to glass claims...may be worth looking in to.

And I think I'm just going to do it myself. My wife works in Durham and a few cars have been broken into in her parking lot, so I think I'm just going to replace it tonight and not make it any easier on the thieves.

Sucks too, we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach when it happened.

I hope those bastards die a fiery death.

Done. $80 for the window at Wagner's and about an hour of my time.

The bastards tweaked the window channel a bit and snapped the trim plate off the door handle, but I fixed those too.

I hope they find their bodies face down in a ditch.
