Pocket Bike Question

no. no lights.

and besides....do you really wanna ride that on the road with fullsize cars zooming past?

we used to suit up in our road racing leathers and set up cones in a parking lot and ride those things for hours. They are a blast but i'd never take one down the road.

Anyone know if these little things are street legal, im pretty sure they have the same engine as a moped. So im thinking they are.

Thanks Ben

In MD, < 50 ccs is considered a moped and fall under same rules as a bicyle.
Oddly, also to ride anything with a motor < 50cc in public (even if on the side of the road, e.g. moped) you must get a special license... that requires being 16. Rediculous.

i saw the front forks go out on a pocket rocket...guy was goin about 50mph down hill on a curvy mtn road.

it got ugly.

I have seen a few crazies riding them on the roads. Dont know if they were legal or not.

I am one of the crazies and I can tell you that they are NOT legal. I have been stopped 2x in the town that I live in. as listed earlier, there are no lights, no speedo, too small for anyone in a car to see you while you are sitting on it, ect...

Yea, not legal, but a hell of a lot of fun! I've got one that'll do about 40 mph and that is fast enough.

those are :gay:

get one of these if you want to be cool
