I am not a J.J. fan, but you gotta give them big big props.
 
Unbeleivable! I was pulling for Harvick but I agree.
 
5 Championships in a row - that is an unbelievable statistic. It is so hard to win one, winning 5 in a row is just unbelievable.
 
I was definitely pulling for Harvick today,but man you gotta give it to the 48.They really know how to turn it up a notch when they need to!What an amazing group!!!
 
I was pullin for Hamlin to win, sick of seeing JJ win and if the chase didnt come down to the last race like it did the fans would HUGELY be pulling for nascar to go back to old points system.
 
Have to wonder what Knaus has that THEY haven't caught yet?
The man invented a way to to have the backglass bow out to let air escape and reduce drag, and then found a way to have his shocks inflate and deflate without a compressor....they caught those what havent they found.

but yeah congrats...Damn shame

true...I guess we should be congratulating Knaus on his ability to find the grey areas and rape them..lol
 
Put Knaus with any other team and the same results can happen. Whatever he is doing obviously works, JJ is a good driver, but he is NOT the reason that team is having all of that success. Like they pulled the #24 pit crew into the #48 pit box for the last few races, put Chad Knaus with Gordon, Jr, or Mark Martin and watch them all win championships and races more often.

For the time being, I'll give credit where credit is due. 5 time champ is amazing enough, much less consecutively.


That said, being the skeptic that I am, I'm waiting for the fall out 5...10...20 years from now, when someone finally comes clean about how this feat was accomplished. Plain and simple, NASCAR was/is floundering, they needed a hero. Like I've said before, sports revolve around recognition, and love him or hate him, people know JJ is a 5 time winner, even though I find it hard to believe that was done by his own accord.
