Poll on Off Roading on Federal Land

voted no, but if you read the article, all they are saying is that we have to stick to legal trails. same thing west coasters have in place, and it seems to be working.

Yeah, but the "yes" answer is so obviously biased...sigh... I assume Pirate is on this?

I couldn't vote. It says the link has been broken or expired. I guess they didn't like the answers they were getting.

Hua? When I clicked again it showed me the results. I guess my vote went through, the page just didn't load up correctly. Well, at least it is swinging in our favor....

O wow!!!!!!

1 more vote for NO. It worked for me. :D :)

KRAWLER :driver:

PS.***Lets get more websites involved on this vote. All the diesel forums and 4 wheeling forums.

I didn't vote - instead, I wrote a letter to the editor, stating that the poll was quite biased, and not reflective of the regulation from the USFS.

This regulation seems like a huge step forward for us, but that's not how the poll makes it out to be.

haha I didnt take all that time to write like you did Rich, I just voted no

Well, it pissed me off.. Either way you vote, you either look like a tree-hugger, or someone who doesn't give a shit about the earth at all.

Nothing at all may come of this, but pissing and moaning to myself does nothing.. Gotta try and do my part, as little as it may be.

Exactly. There is no middle ground. I got the same impression when I read it. It is creating a bias because of the fact that it is online and it only has black or white, not shades of grey.

The Funny thing is the same questions that were on that poll about the outer banks.

And Rich I sent the same type of letter to the editor at csmonitor.com. but I never heard any kind of response. I think maybe they did not yet the response they wanted. so they had msnbc run it the question are alomost the same.

Went here:

And wrote the comment (with -- set for content on the article):

This page mentions nothing about wording polls and surveys to skew results. This page was reached through an online survey that was written to be skewed against off-roading. There was no in between, where some areas need roads and restrictions, and others do not, because of the nature of the soil, dryness, etc. The poll was similar to saying: "What 24 news service do you like?" A. The rat bastards at CNN B. MSNBC where we love you and we respect you C. Fox News where we think they like sheep.

Voted NO, and by the way...

Do those tracks look like they were made by a vehicle with large, DUAL rear wheels? Such as oh, I dunno, a commercial truck maybe?
