poor idleing while sitting at stop light in drive

96 grand cherokee automatic 6cyl, the idle fluxuates while sitting at a stop light and the trans in drive. It acts like it's going to stall but doesn't. If I put the trans in neutral or park it idles fine. What do you guys think? thanks :beer:
 
tps or torque converter
 
Also my transmission fluid looks pretty dirty so I'll probably change it.
