Pop up camping spots

I was wondering if anyone knows of some good places to camp at with a popup camper. I was really wanting places that are not laid out where you are 20 feet from other people. More remote with a good view. Maybe some in Boone?

Most of the state parks in NC are laid out so you do have some amount of privacy. For a view head for a campground on the Blue Ridge Parkway .... in NC or VA ... and maybe even check out places on the New River.

If you go right now, you won't have to worry about having any neighbors near by. Do you want a site that is going to have electric or are you going to not worry about that. Some of the best sites are on water Jordan Lake has some great sites. Morrow Mountain State Park is nice.
