lol anyone heard about this?
Apparently it only applies to BUTTERED popcorn.
When you take the bag out of the microwave and open it. Thats where the damage is done. That first plume that comes out of the bag contains some material that PERMANENTLY cakes to the inside of your lungs. CANNOT be removed. If inhaled enough a disease forms....killing you.

I read about that a couple of weeks ago. I was under the impression it was like chronic bronchitis, not something I'd call creepy or deadly except it is like so many other things that are manufactured in labs... fine in the natural state but not so sure about the 'healthier' fake version. You're better off eating real melted butter on popcorn, just less often!

the popcorn disease thing has legs but has been overblown.
the damn boyscouts are selling off it.

And the swim ameoba thing is 100% genuine for anyone questioning it.
