Right now it has a stocl 1.3 motor and thats about all thats stock. It has yota axles with 4.10 gears welded front and back, 6.5 transfercase gears, YJ springs in the rear with buggy leafs, RUF with M/L in the front. It has been stretched about 11 inches. I am gonna put a 5.0 in it with an auto tranny in a few weeks. And it has 35/12.50 ssr's also.
My Monte has a 2.6 4 cylinder and I'm thinking about going to 33s or so. You think it would be able to handle it? I notice a lot of suzuki's have stock motors and I've got. 4.62 gears. Just curious, I don't plan on doing much highway driving.
what is going on with the steering? how is the drag link attached?
if i took a guess, you took the stock tie rod, flipped it around, and ran your drag link to the hole for the stock steering stabilizer.
Yes. it is a 3/4 or what we call a buggy leaf. You are basically right about the steering. It is a quick fix until the parts get here for the OTT steering.
