So my dad has joined this mad house. His posts will mostly be related to his ‘55 wagon but I’m assuming he will lurk as well. He uses a droid phone but is still desktop based for 99% interwebz activities. He puts all his photos that he takes with his phone in google drive so he can access them on the computer. When he clicks “Attach Files” where does he go to find them to post here? I’m about clueless (most of the time anyway) about google drive and how to bring photos over to NC4X4. I just use a dum iPhone and upload from my photo gallery. Pictured instructions would be GREEEAT! (Tony The Tiger voice)

TIA

I'd just right click on the picture and hit copy and then paste into the text box. I'm not in front of a computer, but something along those lines ought to work.

Also tried dropping a photo out of the drive to his desktop and didn’t succeed there either. May have to investigate further on his end.

He can open google drive then download the picture to his PC. It will be in his downloads folder

That's a lot of extra steps though

I think what he needs to do is to click the photo on his drive to it appears, then right click the picture , copy, paste into the thread

Be sure to paste the photo, not "paste link" or whatever because that will definitely result in a dead link unless he makes the folder accessible to the world first.

On the PC, I just use Greenshot, select area to copy, paste into NC4X4. Takes about 5 seconds, reduces file size, and strips away any personal data such as date or location.
