two questions-

pwr steering resvrs- I have been looking at some power steering resvrs for my 6.0 swap since this motor had hydro boost that Im not using. its just a pump-no resvr and there is a 3/8" line in and out on the pump to the steering box (like normal) and a 1/2 line on top to what used to be hydroboost? would I just take this line to a remote resvr? some resvrs I have looked at have a 3/8 line and a 1/2 line on them. would you cap the return on the pump and return the LP fluid to the resvr in this situation? this would make sense as far as cooling goes. otherwise you just store fluid in a can and then the lower fluid circulates and doesnt really cool off. what would be better return to resvr or return to pump?

next - anybody know how the PCMs on genIII motors is mounted? I looked at my friends and the PCM is in a box so I cant get to it. are they 100% waterproof? looks like it might get hot so I cant mount it in a sealed box and I dont have room in the cab to mount that big sucker. I can only imagine that it needs to be mounted in a particular way and kept cool.

This maynot answer your question, but during my recent conversion to hydro steer I found out GM power steering maintains 5psi which prevents a resevior vented to the atmosphere. I hope this little tidbit will help.
