You considered Nitto's or Toyo's? I think you'll get better wear and a better ride out of either of them. I haven't seen x-terrains hold up very well on heavy trucks. They seem to do great on half tons and smaller but not near as good on HD trucks.
try mickey thompson mtz's. toyo mud grappler's look just like em but the m/t have more tread for life, i did run sigma mud claws on my 75 dodge for a few months and put like 5k miles on em and they still had 80% tread left
well nitto dosent make a big enough size but in the mud grapplers and i dont want to run them. toyos are about $2800 i can get the x's for 1600 shipped to me. really the only reasson im looking at them and ive had a freind run the mtz's and they did horriable on millage.
I run 37" m16s and have really liked them alot. They are quiet and have worn great! Just wished they made a 14.50 in a 37" cause I like a wider tire.
I think Im gonna try the toyos just to try something different but if Im not crazy about them I will go back to these especially for the price!! I have seen several set of X-terrains on my buddys trucks and they dont seem to last......
Oh and you know you can get a set of 40" m16s for a deal still.....just let me know if you want them!
