Update:
I was going to try cleaning the NSS however, like RenegadeT said, it is hard to get to. So, I tried JC's suggestion except with a piece of aluminum foil. I took the connector loose and covered the female end with the foil and plugged it back in. It works better than it ever has. I'm not sure how long it will work but, if it lasts long enough for me to get the new NSS that will be fine with me.
