Problems with trans..I think

I am having intermittent problems when I start out in 1st gear or in reverse with the jeep jerking. After it starts going it doesn't happen in 2-5. I kinda know what it might be but want to see what the experts will tell me.
It isn't me as some may question as I have driven this jeep for over a yr w/o this prob.

I have no doubt it is related to letting my 11yr old "practice" driving my jeep up and down the driveway.

Sounds like to me your clutch is warped. Probably from said "practice".

does anyone know a good place to get a clutch replaced?

You can do it yourself in a day and don't really need any special tools other than the 12pt socket for the 2 bolts on top of the tranny tunnel.
