I'm waiting for the knuckle rebuild kit to come in so I can put the front axle back together.
The steering will be full hydro, I hope to have that stuff soon. I'm selling the Ifs box if anyone is interested. I still have to build the exhaust which should be easy, plumb the front brakes , the back brakes are almost done and connect the fuel lines. oh yeah it need drive shafts too. Alittle misc welding and some kind of grill protection and she should be done.:shaking:

Damn Scott. Looks really good. You have been making some good progress.

Hummm. Roof, padded seats, doors with roll up windows. Probably has power steering and air conditioning. Definately an old man truck :)

Save some $$$, get the cheap pacesetter. I bought a pacesetter for mine (2.7) for about $160. The LCE header was $300+ I think. The LCE claims to add HP, but I doubt it would be worth the extra $$$. If it were a sports car (or a diesel) I might would opt for the nicer stuff, but a cheap header has got to be better than the stock manifold anyways...

I have the LCE on my 22re. Yes, it was pricy, but I've been very happy w/ it. After 4 years it's still nice and gray (except the mud that's baked on). From what I've heard, the Pacesetters rust up and warp really fast, but maybe Michael has a better word on them.
But for a truck that's already ugly, maybe not worth it?
I definitely don't have a "dangle" problem, at least w/ the LCE, it runs right down along the tunnel, hugging the tranny. I n fact, w/ my auto tranny, it was a tight fit due to the larger bellhousing. it bolts righ up to the stock cat converter location.
Cannot confirm this about the Pacsetter though.
