Adam brought his tacoma over on sunday for a little cage action after almost dumping it multiple times at DPG the weekend before. Thought i would share the cage i bent up for his on sunday. About ten hours in it all from start to finish. Pretty basic stuff but he wanted head room and not to add too much weight. He got a good lesson in bending and notching (not that i should be teaching anything :flipoff2: ) and he welded the whole thing himself. Looking forward to him testing it out. Also, its project pistol grip grip because the few breaks we did take involved a pistol grip shotgun that adam seems to carry everywhere

So Adam actually finished that pistol grip in the wood lab? I'm more impressed by that than the cage :flipoff2:

Lets test it out.

looks good Samu! wanna do an SAS?

thanks again sam i had a blast and this thing looks nasty... Yeah quarry trash that was me. i was pulling her home from sams place.

Brandon, finished is a very loose term. :shaking: It does function though!

Dave, let me know man. Wingnut Fab is open 24/7 :flipoff2:

Adam has his truck back in boone and has been working on it. He has it lookin pretty good. Spare tire mounts on the back of the bed and will be finished with aluminum diamond plate.

Damn Adam the trucks changed A LOT since I saw it last! I really like the work around the rear leaf mounts. Hope to wheel with you again soon...

thanks guys. hope to see you all at harlan the 14th... nathan you're a dick.

I think I still have that piece laying in a scrap pile if you want to graft it on there.

Actually, I think I'll use it as a rear valance for the next race car.

Good ones, they wanted to make sure your cage would hold up, so they had ya test it at home where they could rush you to the hospital if something bad happened.

Now it probably came out more like "Dont be a pussy, roll it down the hill" but I am sure they had good intentions haha

One of my favorite yodas, just because it gets beat to death and keeps on going, lovin the skid plate artwork haah
