Most of my rig is built, but over the next year I will have what I am calling "a series of finishing touches".

I'll post up some pics as the projects are completed. My list is always evolving, but the short list for finishing the project looks like:

Teraflex Belly Up
Gen-Right rear stinger
Corbeau seats
Synthetic winch line
Vanco big break kit
Clayton 5" stretch (I'm on the fence with this one)

This thread is for the Belly Up. I started this on Wednesday, took a break on Thursday, finished it Friday and was at The Flats on Saturday!

Here are some pics of the install:

I went with the Tereflex model because of the smoking deal I got: $150.

Since this is a low center of gravity build, I wanted to avoid installing a body lift. That and the fact that I absolutely hate them. You have to be a little creative, but it can be done with out any driveline issues.

Parts list includes:

Teraflex SYE & CV driveshaft (installed 2 years ago)
Teraflex belly up pan
Rubicon Express upper adjustable control arms
Sky Jacker transfer case shifter cable bracket
JKS motor mount lift

Dimple tool for the tub. Since I wasn't doing a body lift, there are a couple of places you need to dimple the tub for clearance. Probably one of the easiest steps. Place the mold on the transfer case, jack it up into the tub until it bends the sheet metal to the desired clearance level.

Next up was the MML. This was NOT fun and took some "tweaking", but eventually went in. I spent 2 hours fighting with one bolt when the 10 second solution finally hit me. But now it is in and my fan sits perfectly in the middle of the radiator shroud!

Next step was getting in the Sky Jacker shifter cable bracket in. I needed some help here because of the welding involved. So I headed over to my buddies place to get it screwed together and welded up. I wish I had more pictures, but we were so busy working with it, it was in before I could grab my camera.

Bolted up the Tera skid with the factory bolts. I got the skid second hand, so it did not include the flat head bolts. I'll get them eventually. The only tight spot is over my muffler. It is pressed against the heat shield which causes a slight leak. This can be fixed down the road, not a big deal for now.

Now it is time to correct the new driveshaft angle. Stripped off the stock uppers (I can't believe they lasted this long!)

Bolted up the RE adjustable CA's and corrected the driveshaft angle.

Finished up at 7:00pm Friday night and left at 7:30am Saturday morning for The Flats off-road park. I didn't have time to get it completely dialed in, the cable needs to be adjusted a little, exhaust needs a little more room. But overall, HUGE difference from stock!

Real Nice!!
Can I ask a favor? Whats the drop on the new skid plate, As in how far below the frame rail does the skid plate hang down?

Just went out and measured: it hangs down 1 1/4" from the frame rails.

With a Rubicon Express 3.5" lift and 37" Pitbull Rockers, it measures 20.5" of clearance on the lowest point of the belly pan.

Going on memory, I believe my last measurement was around 18", so it gained the 2.5" of clearance that was advertised.
