Me, Unbreakable and Karen with and picked up my new tralier today. I wish I would have taken pics of it before we cleaned all the trash off of it. There was all kinda of shit on it and about a million rolle polles. We got it cleaned off and took it on to the house.

My plans are as follows

Tear off floor
Have it sand blasted
New tires/wirring/wheel bearings/lights
I'm going to two boards on each side and expanded metal on the inside to keep the weight down.
A few tool boxs and D-rings

29' total length

the deck is 19" and the top is 8". It was a 29'camper. I'm going to make it 8 inches wider on both sides so Swampy will fit.
I priced a few things today.
35' of 7wire is $75
Tires $340
and I think I will have about 200 in wood.
new lights $50
I gave $500 for it as it sits so when I'm done I still wont have a too much money in it.

Yes I am

Cummins??

I have been looking around for some used tire but haven't had any luck. The tires that came on it are 7.00x15 and I can't put anything wider on it or they will rub the frame. I have the 5 on 4.5 lug patern:shaking:. I wish I could find some 16" wheels with minimal backspacing so I could just run truck tiers on it.. I don't know the backspacing of the stock wheel but I will measure it tomorrow.

Here is an update on ole rolle

The wheels are from an exploder...I hate them but they were cheap and I needed 16" wheels with the 5 on 4.5 pattern

I made the tralier about 15"s wider so my truck would fit on it.

I used this plate that I scored from school to hold the boards down...so I wouldn't have to put so many bolts in it.

Here is how I secured the boards at the front of the tralier

I also welded in 5 new cross braces in the frame. 3 of them were beer angle iron and 2 were c channel.
I still have to
Add some more lights on the back...and side markers.
Weld new chain on to hold the ramps up
bolt the boards down at the very back and weld plate on like I did up front
bend tube for fenders
add tie down points
decide what I'm going to do with the neck

I'm also going to repack all the bearings this week

looks good..

are those tires trailer tires or truck tires? if truck tires just make sure the are load E.. if not you will not like them

The tires are 265s....3 of them are load range E and one is a P. I will get another E as soon as i find a good used one.
I thing that I'm going to cut the neck off in the sping and kinda copy what you did on your except I'm gonna stick with the 5th wheel.

Thanks man....I've had it since the summer and still haven't pulled anything on it yet.

I'm going to drop my dodge off at the Bumgarner's camping center one day this week. They are going to wire and mount a 7pin plug in my bed. I have a 4 pin back there right now (no brakes) and I really don't wanna mess with the wires in a truck that I still owe money on. 35 bucks doesn't sound too bad to me.
