Propane back to gas

Tried searching this but I didn’t come up with much. Found a lot of stuff with guys going to propane or running propane and gas, but none switching back. I found a rig I’m interested in but it runs on propane. It’s a carbed 350 SBC. For me, it would be about 50/50 street and trail (it’s still street legal, so the ad says). I know propane for trail is the ticket for carbed rigs, but filling up on propane would be a pain for me. I was wondering how much of a pain it is to switch back to gas. I know nothing about running or installing propane. It’ll obviously need a fuel cell for gas, fuel pump, but as far as under the hood I’m lost. Thanks in advance.

Sorry. My search skills are poor. Searched again and actually found some info, but please feel free to school me up.

Remove the propane stuff and install a carburetor , line to fuel pump and line to fuel tank. Check ignition timing and return to carb specs if needed.

Unless the engine was built specifically for propane, it should be simple swap.

I would suggest changing the plugs at the same time. Check timing, as it may have been advanced some.

On a side note, you could convert it to dual fuel with electric lockoff and electric fuel pump. Use forklift thanks for the propane, as they should be easier to fill.

Dual fuel ftw!! best of both worlds but more space taken up and more money invested! I was gonna go sniper efi on my rig but after seeing so many waterlogged engines from creek crossings and deep holes in water I think dual fuel will be my final choice! Then again I’d hook a 5 gallon gas can up to my junk if it meant I got to get back on the trail. Lol
