Propane in Harlan?

Going to Harlan in October and wanted to know if there is a place there that fills propane tanks?

It will be over a weekend, so i wasnt sure if they would be open.

Does anyone know of a place?
 
I run Pane, but I take enough tanks to do me for the entire trip. I always figure 2 tanks a day. A long day I run out one, and part of another. If you don't have enough tanks you may be able to borrow some.

To answer your question though, I can't,.. didn't need it so didn't look for a place

Me too.
I can run several weekends on one tank too though so I don't worry much about it.

OK. Well for some reason, im burning propane pretty quickly on my 22R. Far quicker than I should. So I may need to borrow some tanks. Ill start another thread for that.

yeah, most all the toy buggies I have seen out and about only run one tank, unlike us V-8 guys who dare not go out without at least 2
 
I normally go through a tank a day at Harlan and that's with running as far back as Mason Jar trail. I'm set up to carry two tanks. I usually take 3 tanks with me for a long weekend there. Like most have said, just take what you think you will need so you don't have to worry about chasing some down.
 
well thats the problem. I have 3 tanks, and will be there from Thursday-Sunday. This will be its first real trip out and as far as I can tell...im burning pane SUPER fast and dont want to venture out there and run out of pane on the 2nd day.

Does anyone around here have some tanks I can borrow or know how to tune a pane setup?
 
As I rember it there is no place close that will fill them. I took enough for myself and then ran into electrical issues. Had a guy trade me an empty aluminum tank and cash for a full steel tank.
