I have a proposition/idea that will hopefully add to the tech and cut back on the stupid that has been making its way to the surface on alot of boards lately (sadly this one too...).
How about before talking any smack about a product, person, or workmanship of a shop, you make sure that it was a FIRST HAND (or at least credible) account of the said issue. I am sick and damn tired of seeing tech threads, companies, and shops being bashed because some nimrod trailer rat's brother's sisters' husband's brother Mar'quese broke it/got ripped of by/or had a bad job done by whomever.
This crap isnt tech. We have the awesome power now days of boards such as these to help us review parts, products, and companies to get the best bang for our buck (and represent companies that do a great job); and this awesome tool is often clouded by questionable information that could confuse or downright mislead potential customers and less knowledgable people. Tech threads are powerful on sites such as these and before a company is bad mouthed...i only see it fair to have FIRST HAND or CREDIBLE accounts of product and service reviews be posted up. If you have a friend who has used something that failed and you want to use that example...by all means do so....but at least have some solid information (pics, storyline, explanation, etc). No one wants to have a thread asking about advice on which trailer tire is best for their application, only to have Bubba Jr. get on here and say "Them tars suck more than a datgum hoover vac" and thats it. Why Bubba? Why do those tires suck? Give us information.... Did you run over a 6 inch piece of steel in the road and tear one up and you are now pissed at them...so you go around spreading shit about them and cloud the tech? Or do you actually have an anecdote to illustrate why they suck?
Rant off. Continue your friday.
Oh...and for God's sake...its FOR SALE not FOR SELL. You dont sale a truck. You sell it. You dont go to a Yard Sell. You go to a Yard Sale.
