I was just thinking about it today, thought I would drum up conversation so what ya think?
(example) I want a tow rig, be alot easier to afford one with the cash from my rig but then I don't have anything to tow and I've owned it for 6 years and put alot of work into it. what to do, what to do? :driver:

Uh, if you sell the rig for a tow rig, what do you tow with it?

91 pickup SAS, duels, locked F&R, bobbed 14in, 36 irocks, 22re w/ 218xxx miles, full roll cage, custom tool box under spare tire

Talk your buddy with a tow rig into a gooseneck long enough for two rigs and pay for the fuel. That worked for me for a couple of years. Just sucked that you could only go wheeling when they wanted to. Ive got my own tow rig now.

Figured you would chim in Micheal I didnt say I was selling it or it would be posted in the for sale section. :shaking:

Every time something goes wrong with my jeep I swear the next time I will sell it... then something else happens. But shes still in the shop waiting to be driven again

Rent the gooseneck and pay for half the fuel, that would work on longer trips, say harlan or tellico, or hell just keep driving it. Its a yota so it should be reliable.

you will never recover the cost of all the mods/time you have put into it. The general public wont pay for it esp. if its over book value.

Keep it and wheel the piss out of it.

If I sold mine I would have to replace it.
CONS:
-I don't wanna go thru another three years of a gradual build-up.
-I couldn't get my investment out of it.
-I couldn't get another back up to where mine is now for the same money.
-I've had mine 20 years...don't wanna let go
-It's PAID FOR!

PROs:
- New rig

Don't sell... u will never get another one past the wife!! This one is "grandfathered" in...next one is gonna 'cost' you something, that could be a bigger house, furniture, "Louis / Prada", something...

Keep doing sidework / welding and putting the cash aside until you can buy a beater tow rig/trailer...

You can buy alot of truck for $5kish (gas not diesel) or YOU buy the trailer/build it, and then Michael pays the fuel to borrow YOUR trailer for both of ur rigs heh!!

...thought of another one... I HAVE the diesel tow rig AND access to trailer and don't mind riding in the right seat and watching you break YOUR junk..heh. Lets go to Tellico! (After April 15th tho)
