I just finished putting hydro assist on my 4runner. got everything put back together, did the pump mod. and then bled the system by turning the wheels lock-to-lock 20 time both on and off the gound. the pump is making a bad whining sound. there is fluid in the resevior and i can see it swirling while the engine is running. there is very little foam still present in the system. is my pump bad or is there still air causing the problem?
i'm using royal purple fluid, any advice is appreciated.
i'm assuming it's the pump because it whines when the engine is rev'd up even if the tire are not being turned.
