There’s not really any info on this. Thought I’d put some here. Also have some questions to ask to be sure I did it right.
How do I make sure the pulleys are lined up?
There not another pulley with the same lip on it to pull a straight edge on.
This is a 2009 tacoma with a 4.0 v6
Old pump had two holes that were within 1/32in the same spacing.
The PSC pump had smaller bore mounting holes.
The TOYODA pump had 1 hole that was threaded and 1 that a bolt passed through and threaded into the bracket.
On the PSC pump I drilled out the holes where the bolt goes all the way through.
I tapped the hole that needed the bolt to tighten into the pump. It was M10x1.25 thread.
PSC pump is not as wide. I’ll have to put some washers between the bracket and the pump to be able to tighten it down.
I pulled the stock pulley off the old pump.
I pressed it onto the PSC pump about 90% of the way because the shaft sat a little back on the PSC pump once mounted.
I’ll have to get a pressure line made for AN6 to the IFS box.
hopefully it works.
