This should not be this hard, but it is. Cannot get turn signals working after they just stopped one day. The emergency flasher work fine. things I have done the following thus far
replaced flasher relay under dash
replaced relay under hood
replaced turn entire signal switch
cleaned all ground wire connections in engine bay
checked all bulbs
removed and checked all fuses to make sure they were good even though they don’t go to turn signals.

any more ideas on what to check. For some reason it appears it is not getting power to activate the flasher, but damned if I know why. Thanks

Did you check all the fuses under the hood. we had a similar problem with a 93 XJ and break lights, turn signals worked but no brake lights when the brake pedal was depressed. It was a fuse under the hood.

Yup, check all of those

I will investigate this. Thanks
Wiring that runs down the steering column rubbed into. was a common problem on XJ jeeps.

Regular bulbs.

I checked the wiring on the steering column since I already had it apart. Nothing broke or rubbed through.
I am wondering if it could be the key switch itself not getting power to them? The tumbler is wore out and the key falls out sometimes. As a matter of fact, you can actually start it with a screw driver or pocket knife if you want to steal it.. lol

Still looking for suggestion. been down and out for the last couple of weeks. Wonder if possible to put aftermarket on it.? One of my pet peeves is someone not using their turn signals, and now I am one of those… thanks

Must be low on blinker fluid, that's the only thing left.
I got nothin.

Take a multimeter, a test light and start from the bulb. Check circuit all the way up to the battery.

Put a volt meter on the wires at the switch. Verify you have 12v in to the switch. Then verify you have 12v after the switch. Then move down the line to the flasher module. It should have 12v and the exit side should have 12v too.
