do I weld the mounts exactly where the the 44 mount were or closer to the end of the axle? Running rock Krawler stuff. I'm cutting the fenders out for a 102' wheel base. Full width axles.

If you are retaining the stock suspensionconfiguration, then yes, you want to duplicate the positions in all three directions (right/left, up/down, front/back, also any angular rotation along the axis).

Rock Krawler 8 inch lift. 3 link in the front and a tri link in the rear with a truss. Coilovers in the front.
