I bought my daughter a 97 Celica but it didnt come with the key fobs for the key less entry. It has the RS3000 security system. It is working at least to a point because the doors lock when you turn the key switch on and unlock when you turn it off. We ordered a replacement remote from e bay and followed the instructions to program it. Turn on the key switch , push the button on the side of the control box with a little screw driver and the light on the dash comes on. All this works like the instructions say. Next step is push the button on the remote and turn the key switch off. Thats supposed to be it but the remote doesnt work. The led on the remote lights up but the doors dont lock or unlock. Any Toyota guys have any ideas?
