Is brake parts cleaner an acceptable substitute for carberator cleaner? Im trying to clean a 4 wheeler carb. that has been setting for a couple years.Yamaha warrior

Probably

It might be possible that the Carb cleaner is a tad more plastic friendly. That would be the only thing I'd be concerned about.

I've used both with no problems though. Brake cleaner ain't what it used to be.

I really think I might have hooked the jet to the float backwards, but who knows. Gonna tear it all back down again.
It does have 4 flat tires, Do you think that could be the problem?:flipoff2:

I've not found anything that will get the plaque out of a 4 wheeler carb. Let me know what works for you.

Soak it in Seafoam then run Sta-Bil in the gas year round. Today's gas sucks. I add Sta-Bil to the gas tanks in my boat and 4-wheelers.
