Steve Irwin has died in a marine accident, stung through the chest off the coast of Australia by a Stingray...

very sad

no way.....i always knew his job would kill him.....i mean how long can you live when you put bodyparts in a crocodiles mouth everyday?

What kind of guy that has 2 young children and a wife aggravates the shit out of animals that can kill you. His show was pretty cool to watch but how many people were hoping something would nail his ass? My condolences to his family.

Crickeyyy.....Stung thru the chest. What a shame and what a great entertainer and teacher of young minds. you have to admit he was one of a kind.

the kind that makes shit tons of money doing it.
reminds me of the demise of the grizzly man....

And more importantly. Loved what he was doing...He was an irritating ass....But he knew his shit, taught well, was passionate about his work, and had fun with it...Say that about your job...

He did what he loved..

his wife does the same stuff, and you can bet his kids will follow

They have audio for "Grizzly Man" feeding the bears. Bad part about his death, his girlfriend was with him at the time and also was killed.

yeah...I watched the movie on Discovery sometime in the last couple months...

they wouldn't play all the audio...but there was an interview with a friend of his where they showed her reaction as she was listening to it...kinda awkward...

back to Steve...the one thing that bugs me about it, is that (according to Good Morning America) Terri was out hiking in Tanzania somewhere, and wasn't even aware Steve was dead...

seems like they would've exhausted every effort to find her before they announced it all over the free world...

Greg

He was all about animals and preservation of them. Its too bad he put himself in a position where he will not be there for his kids when they grow up. RIP.

What was sad is his wife was still in the jungle hunting when they put it on the news. She had/has no idea. I still haven't heard if they have found her yet or not. I know they said they were looking for her.

He should have loved his family more.

Dude.. he met his wife already doing this kinda thing.. They both knew the risks, and it's not like they weren't both aware of them.

I'm not going to stop riding motorcycles because it's dangerous... Does that mean I don't love my wife?

I'm not going to stop wheeling because a guy this past weekend got a compound arm fracture (and could have easily been worse)... Does that mean I don't love my wife? (Who rides with me on EVERY obstacle)

thats lameass dude.

He loved his family, just like you love yours. He had a dangerous profession, but it put food on the table and he wasnt some deskjockey with a job he hated.

You cant possibly pass judgement on a person you didnt even KNOW. Your a lowlife of the worst kind.

Honestly, shit like this is what makes me mad, think about what your saying before you freakin say it.
