I've got a leak in my radiator caused by the drive pin and clip on my taurus fan. Anybody know someone who can braze it or something along those lines? Or are the magic fixes worth trying?

The total damaged area is about an inch in diameter. Here are a few pics:

I wouldn't use the quick fix stuff. There is a shop here in Shelby called Mark's Radiator Repair that does good work.

Clean the area really well, and use some acid core solder and a torch. I have fixed my cj radiator numerous times with this method.

you could probably buy a new radiator for next to nothing since you hve a really common vehicle. I just bought one for our 4runner (99 model) for $120 from NAPA. If you can get it fixed for 20 or 30 bucks that might be worth it, any more and I'd just buy a new one.
Its a Novak aftermarket aluminum unit, so not cheap. Hindsight would have bought something different, but thats what's paid for now, and it works fabulously.

I will do some research, that sounds like it just might work.

Matt, there is a radiator repair shop right down the road from my house. Them, or any other radiator repair shop in the area should be able to take care of that. My brazing skills have not been aquired yet or i'd help you do it.
