Raleigh Area MTB

Anyone in the Raleigh area ride? Have been riding with a few buddies but they are slower than crap and it seems like I'm sitting on the side of trails longer than I ride. Not a pro by any means here but looking for someone who wants to ride a few miles on the weekends. Usually hit crabtree but have some interest in harris etc

The pros meet up at the gas station at the entrance to harrington grove on Leesville. I did some networking during a job search and learned a bit about them. There are a lot of semi-pro riders in the area because of the tech sector and the good weather year-round.

Take a look at trianglemtb.com, lots of information about the local trails and the forums have good info.
Of course the best trails in the area aren't advertised on the site, and if you ride Crabtree often you'd be surprised how close you are...just follow the day glo spandex and you're bound to figure it out.
Harris is close to me, I end up there once or twice a week. PM me if you want to meet up. Don't know how slow your buddies are, but I usually maintain a decent pace.

you need to go out to seawell elementry in chapel hill. thats an awesome place to ride and there are always a lot of people out there. ill be buying a new hard tail in a few weeks and ill be down to start riding again.
